The Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) has announced its integration with EstatesIT, a cloud-based CRM software for agents.

This integration aims to tackle the time-consuming task of duplicating deposit data from CRM systems to deposit scheme platforms.

Through the TDS API, agents can automate the transfer of deposit data, eliminating manual input.

The integration with TDS is a key milestone for EstatesIT, making it easier for letting agents to manage tenancy deposits.

John Roberts, co-founder of EstatesIT, said: “Our TDS integration allows for easy one-click deposit protection. The required information for the API request; the landlord, their property, and the incoming tenant, is already collected at the point of onboarding.

“We avoid duplication of effort with double data entry in multiple dashboards, avoiding potential mistakes. We provide reports weekly (optional daily) of deposits on hand and received from incoming tenants and their current protected status. Our dashboard shows the status of all deposits to all staff, with countdown reminders and warnings approaching the deadline for protecting them. Once a deposit is protected, the deposit status is communicated automatically to staff, landlord, and tenant.”

The TDS API is available to all TDS agent customers with compatible software

Debbie Davies, TDS head of sales and client success, added: “We are delighted to partner with EstatesIT on this integration, which significantly enhances the deposit protection process for letting agents.

“The collaboration with EstatesIT reflects our shared commitment to providing agents with innovative solutions that streamline their workflows, while ensuring compliance. John, Nigel and their team have been instrumental in developing a user-friendly CRM system that aligns perfectly with our goal of making deposit protection simple.

“By automating key tasks, this integration will save agents valuable time, reduce errors, and provide tenants with greater transparency and confidence in how their deposits are managed. We are proud to be part of this forward-thinking partnership with EstatesIT, and I’m excited to see how this will continue to benefit our customers and the property industry as a whole.”
